Your mother was always very special to me. As a young boy (in the 1940s) I met her when she went to work for my Dad who owned a small construction company at the time. Your Dad while visiting our family was introduced to your mother. It was love at first sight. They married shortly thereafter. For several years your mother lived with us while your Dad was serving our country overseas. My Dad remodeled the second floor of our house to provide for her housekeeping needs. My brothers and I were moved into our basement into a room that was previously Dad's office.I considered her as family then and through-out our lives. While sharing your grief, take the time the share your favorite memories with your family. Having lost my parents, I have found that sharing memories brings great comfort. Keep in touch. Love to all, Cousin Dick Lombard
