Wanted to share a story here, as work may prevent me from attending this afternoon.
We have lived down the street from George for over eight years. One day George walked by and picked up some recycling from my neighbor across the street. I asked George if he wanted my recycling also, and he said sure. I did not expect anything in return, but a few days later a six pack of cold Coors light showed up on my doorstep. :)
Every so often, I would drop off a bag of aluminum, and the beer fairy would appear a few days later. We never really spoke of it.
George was a great guy and will be missed in the neighborhood.
