Irene was a wonderful person. My family lived down the street from her family. My Mother sang in the choir at St. Mary Magdalene church with Irene. Irene sang one of my favorite songs at my wedding Ave Maria. Great memories of the parties the Manzanos threw, and the delicious platters of Lumpia we received every Christmas. The Brashear family is heart broken and sends condolences to the Manzano family.
She had a great daughter, Brenda, because she took after her great mother.
Irene knew how to enjoy life. She told me that she would walk with her friend then they would stop for a donut. I always loved to go to San Diego because of
