My Grama spoke of her dying quite a lot as we grew up, at least a few times a year. She'd make it light and even funny at times, as if to prepare us or soften the blow. She was like that, always selfless and thinking of the best for others. She loved God, and lived that out in her home. It was not lost on us, her grandaughters benefitted greatly in many ways by her beautiful, selfless, hard working, and forgiving example. – Lucy
Grama used to threaten us, her grandkids, that she would someday "take her trip" to get away from us noisy magpies. My sisters would say "we'll just go to your grave to pray then", as if to say she'll never get rid of us. My Grama would say "well I'll just take the phone off the hook."– Angie and Lucy

Uncle Don and family, so sorry to hear about your loss. She was a wonderful woman and proud to call her my Aunt. I will always remember what a kind, faith filled and loving lady she was. The obituary is beautiful and I would add what a great cook.. and she taught me how to make guacamole. Wish we could come to funeral, know you are in our prayers. Sending you a hug. God Bless.
