Aloha Bro
Bobby, we've been friends since first grade and I am grateful to have reconnected with you recently. You remind me of how good we had it growing up in Clairemont. Surf the clouds my friend.
Bobby was a special friend and a beautiful soul. I especially enjoyed our beach times together, watching him surf Marine St. from my perch on the sandy shore. When I'm in San Diego, I visit Marine Street, and always "see" Bobby surfing the waves there in my mind's eye. He was a true friend. The Tomovich family were always so warm and welcoming to me (except for the crazy cat that attacked me–but whatever); you and the long ago friends are all in my heart as we mourn the physical loss of Bob and celebrate the joy we all found in his presence.
I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. So young and so bright. My heart goes out to his family. I grew up in UC but had lots of fun time with the Clairemont crew. I am so sorry for your loss, he was a sweet and lively soul. My he be in the arms of god and having fun in heaven.
Godspeed
I will always think fondly of our Bobby Tomovich! He was a superstar to me when we first moved back to SD. Clairemont's own quintessential Surfer Dude with a heart of gold! We'll miss your smile and warm spirit. Rest in peace and catch some tasty waves my old friend!!
So happy I went on Saturday. I will keep all of the Tomovich family in my prayers. It was a wonderful service for a wonderful man. Michelle Cravens-Tompkins
