Sarah Bleckley Stallings' Obituary
Sarah Elizabeth Bleckley Stallings was born in Spartanburg, SC in 1928. She was the forth of 6 children, of Nova Franklin Bleckleyand Rachel Lurleen Bleckley. She is preceded by her husband Ronald, sister Mary B. Boozer and brother Nova Franklin Bleckley Jr. of Columbia, SC. She is survived by her sisters Ann Huddle and Jo McEachern of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Katherine Sandifer of Birmingham Al as well as her 5 children Sharon, Ronald, Deborah, Cynthia and Karen, as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.In 1947 she wed her high school sweetheart Ronald Maxie Stallings and moved to California in 1960.Sarah was beautiful inside and out, she loved life, and was always on-the-Go! She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to casinos and playing bingo with all of her friends. She was an accomplished bowler and was even a state Champion. She was known to laugh very easily and even tell a joke now and then. She could accomplish anything when she put her mind to the task.She was the head of her family and was the one who kept it together in life, as her memory will keep it together in her absence. Family was everything to Sarah; she loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and would do anything for all of them. She was an animal lover, and especially loved her dog Susie.She was a one of a kind, and she will be missed by all!Memorials may be made to the Helen Woodward Animals Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA or Flowers to Clairemont MortuaryArrangements under the direction of Clairemont Mortuary, San Diego, CA.
